First Steps Nursery opened in 2002 and is situated in purpose built premises in the Lowton area of Warrington, Cheshire. The nursery is open Monday – Friday from 7:15am – 6:30pm. We also have another purpose built nursery situated within Pennington near Leigh also called First Steps Nursery. This nursery opens Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 6:00pm. Both nurseries have been thoughtfully designed to provide full day care for babies and young children, offering safe and secure enclosed indoor and outdoor play areas.

At First Steps Nursery we have highly trained, enthusiastic and friendly staff that provide a stimulating and loving environment for children, giving your child the best start in life. Each child is nurtured to build confidence and a love of learning, helping them reach their full potential and prepare them for their future. Our aim is to provide a happy, stimulating and safe environment where children from 6 weeks – 5years old and endeavour to meet their individual needs.

First Steps Nursery at Lowton is a purpose built nursery with seven age-specific rooms: a Baby room, Tweenies room, Teeny Tinies room, Tinies room, Pre School room, Pre-school 1 room, and a  Pre-school 2 room. As well as these rooms we also have a library full of age appropriate books and familiar favourites.

Children have continuous access to the separate outdoor spacious areas from the age of 6 weeks with a range of different age appropriate outdoor equipment ranging from push along bikes and cars to a large adventure pirate ship.

​​For parents who require childcare for primary aged children we also run a breakfast, afterschool and holiday club for children from Reception class – 11years which is situated at our Lowton nursery.
